Filler

What is dermal filler?

Filler is the process of injecting more hyaluronic acid into your skin. Doing so, creates a softer, more subtle complexion.

What to expect

Prior to your visit you'll want to avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatory medications, and blood thinning medications if possible. At your first appointment you'll complete a brief consultation that will include a couple medical forms, your injector will explain the process of the injection, answer any questions you might have and will prepare your skin for the injections. The appointment and injection process takes 60-90 minutes, and the results are immediate.  Possible side effects of filler can last up to 7 days and include redness, swelling, and tenderness. These side effects are completely normal and there is no need to be alarmed if you experience any or all of them after your treatment. For best results after your injection, you should avoid alcoholic beverages, and excessive heat or sun exposure for 24 hours.

Where can I get filler injected?

The most common injection sites for dermal filler are lips, under eyes, cheeks, jaw lines, and laugh lines.
